Kofta makhani

Ingredients for kofta

Mince ½ kg
Ginger garlic 2 tsp
Allspice 1 tsp
Chili powder ½ tsp
White pepper ½ tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped
Balai 1 tbsp
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Brown onion grinded 1 tbsp
Raw onion grinded 1
Egg 1
Bread slices 1
Ingredients for gravy
Onion 1 grinded
Almonds grinded and blanched 10
Butter 2 ounce
Oil ¼ cup
Tomato puree ½ cup
Ketchup ¼ cup
Ginger garlic 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
Roasted cumin 1 tsp
Allspice ½ tsp
Fresh cream ½ cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Green chilies and coriander leaves chopped
Method for kofta
Put altogether Mince ½ kg, Ginger garlic 2 tsp, Allspice 1 tsp, Chili powder ½ tsp, White pepper ½ tsp, Salt 1 tsp, Coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped, Balai 1 tbsp, Corn flour 2 tbsp, Brown onion grinded 1 tbsp, Raw onion grinded 1, Egg 1 in a chopper and grind to a fine paste, mix well shape them into ball and keep aside.
Method for gravy
Heat oil and butter, fry onion paste until golden, add ginger garlic paste, fry for 2 minutes add Chili powder 1 ½ tsp, Roasted cumin 1 tsp, Allspice ½ tsp, tomato puree, ketchup with 1 cup water, cook till boiling add in koftas, cook over medium flame until koftas are firm and oil comes on top, lastly add in cream, sugar, chopped coriander and green chilies.
